Gate clearance and strap attachment are separate checks when choosing the YF102024DC zinc-alloy snap hook. The actual colour option is Silver and the nominal size is written 1/2*2 5/8in, providing a reference to carry into a dimensioned drawing for a pet-accessory, saddlery or bag-component enquiry.
Clarify the complete nominal size label
Quote 1/2*2 5/8in when requesting the YF102024DC drawing, and ask for explicit units and the meaning of each measurement. Confirm the overall outline and usable openings from that drawing, instead of silently assigning the first number to a strap width or adding an unstated unit.
- YF102024DC distinguishes the snap-hook model being considered.
- Zinc alloy is its named material family.
- Silver is the current selectable colour for this version.
- 1/2*2 5/8in remains the nominal label as written.
- Not Rated identifies the actual hooks-grade option.
Measure both sides of the connection
Compare the hook's strap attachment with the intended strap and its gate clearance with the proposed mating ring. Keep those two interface checks on the YF102024DC approval drawing, and request any application-specific rating evidence separately because the Not Rated label does not establish a rated-load result.
Approve plating and any custom specification
Ask for the Silver plating reference and confirm the current 100pcs minimum for the exact fitting. If another finish, size, package or logo is requested, define it with an approved drawing or sample before ordering, without treating request wording as an additional current colour choice or a verified finish-composition claim.
