Material and finish selection

Stirrup Materials, Pair Weight and Finishes

Choose stirrup materials and finishes with the complete pair in view. We manufacture stirrups and can compare the frame, tread, side parts and fixings as separate component choices. Use the same size and contents when reviewing weight, then approve the physical appearance. Your team can compare quotations and colour extensions without treating a finish as proof of the underlying construction.

Use Complete Samples to Compare Material Directions

Make each material and finish choice easy to compare. Relia manufactures its own stirrups and checks materials, dimensions, appearance and assembly fit. We keep the complete component list with the sample, so pair weight, usable geometry and colour remain distinct decisions instead of one broad material label.

Compare aluminum Western and steel English constructions as complete products, with the frame, tread, side parts and fixings identified. A material change can also bring a geometry or component change. Keep those differences visible before comparing pair weight, price or a new colour extension.

Allocate Material by Component

A single alloy label does not define the complete assembly. Record frame, tread, side pieces and fixing separately, including the actual grade where it is part of the specification. Keep the surface treatment in its own field.

Compare Weight on the Same Basis

Use comparable sizes and the same included components when weighing sample pairs. Record whether pads or inserts are fitted and whether the number is for one piece or a pair. Geometry and part inventory can change the comparison as much as the main material.

Same size basis

Retain usable geometry and complete frame dimensions.

Same contents

Keep pad, insert and fixing inventory consistent.

Same unit

Record the complete pair or individual piece explicitly.

Colour Is an Appearance Reference

The ST3120 labels include Rose, Black, Brown, Rainbow and Silver. Those names help select an appearance sample; they do not identify PVD, anodizing or precious-metal content. Keep the chosen look and the actual surface process as separate parts of the brief.

Review the Surface Route for the Actual Substrate

Choose the finish around the actual component material. We arrange the appropriate preparation, polishing and selected surface treatment while retaining the frame edges and working interfaces. Anodizing is one treatment for aluminum; the actual route for your selected version is agreed in its finish specification and sample.

Compare the physical colour and surface with the complete product. Material verification, dimensional and appearance checks, and assembly-fit checks help keep the accepted finish tied to the right frame and parts. Retain that sample when discussing later colours so the surface choice stays separate from a construction change. Review our material, appearance and assembly checks before agreeing the finish sample.

  1. Substrate

Confirm the actual material and component allocation.

  2. Surface preparation

Define texture and visible edge condition.

  3. Selected treatment

Name the process belonging to this version.

  4. Appearance sample

Retain physical colour, sheen and surface reference.

Use a Physical Finish Reference for Reorders

An accepted physical sample gives a clearer colour reference than a screen name alone. Keep sheen, texture and viewing conditions alongside the colour. If a material or process changes later, review the new appearance rather than assuming it will match the old sample.

Select the Model Before Expanding Colours

Compare YF11902Al, ST3120 and the anodized-reference listing as separate complete products. Choose the structural base, then agree the actual finish and component schedule for the selected sample.
