Measured fit and size ranges

Stirrup Sizing for Boots and Leathers

Choose stirrup sizes using the space your boot and leather actually need. We manufacture stirrups and can review the usable tread, internal opening and upper slot with your intended equipment. Agree the measurement points on a complete sample, then carry them into your size chart. That helps retail, saddle-brand and purchasing teams use the same reference for new orders and replenishment.

Build the Size Chart Around Each Model

Make the size chart useful to both the buyer and the person fitting the equipment. Relia produces its own stirrups and supports dimensioned customer designs. Our dimensional and assembly-fit checks connect the finished frame, installed tread and leather opening, keeping the model label beside its actual working measurements.

Keep the label beside the actual model measurement. The 25854 Pony uses a 4-inch size label, while classic English models include 4¼ through 5-inch references. YF11902Al uses a 120 mm label. Agree the measurement endpoints on the chosen sample before using these different labels in one fit chart.

Define the Working Tread Dimensions

Use separate fields for usable width, front-to-back support and total outside dimensions. The internal space may also be affected by side components or tread features. The drawing should show where every reading starts and finishes.

Use the Actual Footwear Envelope

A boot’s outside shape, not only its marked shoe size, belongs in the fit review. Record the intended footwear and use the relevant operating guidance for the chosen model. There is no single clearance number on this page that substitutes for that complete assessment.

Footwear reference

Retain the actual boot model or dimensional profile.

Frame reference

Keep size and tread version together.

Installed review

Assess the completed boot, stirrup and leather arrangement.

The Upper Slot Has Width and Thickness Constraints

A leather can fit a stated width yet become crowded where it folds or passes through a small section. Include the finished thickness, edges, stitching and actual route. Review the completed attachment instead of only comparing the flat leather width with an outside slot dimension.

Plan Smaller Ranges as Complete Geometries

A smaller range needs its own frame, tread and upper-slot records. Scaling one visible dimension does not define the whole product. Keep the model label, actual sample geometry and intended equipment in the same comparison table.

Measure the Finished Assembly

The selected forming and component-making route establishes the frame and upper attachment. We complete any required machining or joining, edge finishing, polishing, surface treatment and assembly according to the model. The installed pad or insert remains part of the final usable-space definition.

We verify materials and dimensions, inspect appearance and check moving parts or assembly fit. Review the actual boot envelope, finished leather route and tread with the complete sample, keeping the measurement endpoints visible. That gives your chart a defined product and condition instead of an assumed conversion between nominal labels or outside widths.

  1. Frame geometry

Record the selected model and critical interfaces.

  2. Surface completion

    Review finished edges and openings.

  3. Pad or tread

Install the agreed version and fixing.

  4. Fit record

Retain final measurements and the equipment reference.

Build One Size Chart Your Teams Can Share

Use YF11902Al, ST3120 or YF11908SS as separately measured references. A useful chart names the model, label, usable dimensions and attachment notes. It should not force different model systems into an assumed conversion.
