D-Ring Horse Bits for Bridle Brand Sourcing

Source D-ring bits around the bridle you intend to sell. We manufacture the complete bit and can review the mouthpiece, ring junction and attachment space with your cheekpiece and rein. Bring the leather dimensions and your preferred construction, then compare samples as finished assemblies. This keeps the bit choice and the bridle connection aligned from the first order.

Begin at the Leather Connection

Keep your bridle connection at the centre of the sample review. Relia produces its own bits and supports your drawings and logo. We check the mouthpiece, ring geometry and assembled fit, while your actual leather shows the usable attachment space your range needs.

At Relia, a useful D-ring enquiry includes more than a mouthpiece width. The cheekpiece and rein need enough usable space at their attachment areas, and the completed assembly needs to be reviewed with the actual leather. Send the strap width, assembled thickness and closure style alongside your bit reference.

Cheekpiece

Strap width, doubled thickness and closure arrangement.

Rein

Connection width, attachment orientation and assembled space.

Bit

Separate Ring Size from Usable Space

Check usable leather space before committing to the ring size. Both 25568 and 25544-125 have a 73 × 40 mm D-ring reference, but your folded cheekpiece and rein occupy the finished opening. Review section thickness and the mouthpiece junction with your actual leather, not just the outer ring dimensions.

Compare Like Cheeks with Different Mouthpieces

Compare a material change without losing the geometry. The 25568 and 25544-125 models share 73 × 40 mm rings, a 5-inch mouth reference and 16 mm thickness. The 25568 has a bronze single-jointed mouth; confirm the component materials of the stainless-steel-range 25544-125 in its quotation and sample specification.

Keep Four Dimension Groups Separate

A useful drawing names mouthpiece width, mouthpiece thickness, ring geometry and leather-attachment clearance separately. Mark the endpoints and measurement condition for each dimension. This keeps a nominal code or ring measurement from being mistaken for the usable width of the complete bit.

Approve the Centre and Outer Junctions Together

The current BT0319 reference has an oval centre and rounded D-shaped rings. BT0301 shows a different linked-looking centre. Their photographs help identify the design; the accepted sample determines the joint and ring movement. Keep the full assembly on record so a centre-link change cannot pass unnoticed as the same D-ring model.

Review Shape After Joining and Finishing

The selected forming route establishes the D-ring outline and mouthpiece shape. Any required connection work, polishing and surface treatment must retain the junction and usable openings in the finished assembly. We keep the actual model's geometry central rather than applying a single process description to every D-shaped cheek.

Our material, dimensional, appearance and assembly checks cover the relevant parts of that configuration. For your bridle, review the finished ring and junction with the intended strap width, folded thickness and closure. The model ring envelope and the space occupied by your leather remain separate fields in the sample decision.

  1. FormRetain the agreed ring and arm geometry.
  2. JoinLocate the mouthpiece junction and connecting parts.
  3. FinishReview accessible surfaces, edges and appearance.
  4. AssembleConfirm strap clearances and documented movement on the finished sample.

Review the Bit with Your Bridle Parts

A physical assembly review can reveal a bulky closure, an awkward rein connection or a junction that differs from your current product. Use your actual cheekpiece and rein, record the selected version and keep the fitting guidance with it. Individual horse suitability needs qualified assessment; this interface review is for the sourcing specification.

See mouthpiece sample comparisons when the centre construction is the remaining decision.

Link the Bridle SKU to the Bit Revision

Once you accept the sample, connect your bridle SKU to the full bit reference, drawing revision and component description. Keep approved substitutions explicit. A new centre, ring junction or mouthpiece material should trigger a new review even if the retail name stays the same.

  1. Brand SKUYour finished bridle or bit product identifier.
  2. Supplier referenceProduct link or complete model code.
  3. Accepted versionDrawing, measured sample and appearance record.
  4. Repeat enquiryQuantity and confirmation of the same revision.

Start a D-Ring Bit Sample Discussion

Send your bridle connection dimensions and either BT0319, BT0301 or a complete model reference. We can discuss the D-ring sample as part of your bridle assembly, with the mouthpiece and material requirements kept clear.

We will review the model and configuration with you before a quotation is agreed. Include quantities and destination so sample, packing and delivery terms can be considered together.
