Wholesale Western Horse Bits by Shank and Mouthpiece

Choose Western bits your buying and sales teams can distinguish by shank and mouthpiece, then refine the decoration. We manufacture complete assemblies and can review your preferred profiles, attachments and supplied parts together. Start with the constructions your customers request and a focused sample set, so the first order grows around useful differences rather than similar finishes.

Start with a Complete Western Configuration

Make the functional choice clear before comparing trim. Relia manufactures its own Western bits and checks the complete configuration, including materials, dimensions, appearance and assembled fit. That lets your team compare a shank and mouthpiece combination as one product while keeping decorative changes separate.

Keep the assemblies distinct as you compare your range. The 10789LB-FD2-133WCR combines a 7-inch shank with a 5-inch Sweet Iron cricket-port mouth and copper rings. The 2634SI-FCT-M01 uses a 6¾-inch shank and a 5-inch Sweet Iron single-jointed mouth. Choose the functional combination before changing its trim.

Compare Attachment Positions Along the Shank

Keep the upper attachment, mouthpiece junction and lower rein attachment visible in the drawing. Total shank length alone does not define their spacing. For a controlled comparison, retain the same mouthpiece while reviewing cheek profiles. Do not calculate a leverage ratio from a model photograph or the overall dimension.

Keep Port and Joint Details Visible

A high-looking centre, a short spoon and a single joint describe different structures. Choose the actual construction your customer is requesting, then compare the complete cheek-and-mouthpiece combination. These descriptions support procurement; they do not select a bit for an individual horse.

The BT0801 raised-centre reference can support a current-product discussion, while the model codes identify separate model designs.

Connect Metalwork to the Approved Shape

A Western-bit production brief starts with the cheek profile and mouthpiece construction. We arrange the appropriate forming operations, with machining or welding where the selected design requires them, then complete polishing, surface treatment and assembly. The attachment openings, mouthpiece junction and decorative boundaries stay tied to that model's drawing.

We verify materials, dimensions and appearance, and check moving parts and assembly fit. For your sample decision, compare the upper and lower connection positions, mouthpiece profile and supplied components together. Decoration is reviewed on the same base, so a trim revision remains distinct from a changed shank or mouthpiece.

Use Decoration as a Separate Specification

Choose the decorative direction after fixing the functional base. Floral trim, copper bars and contrasting treatments each need their own location, material and finish description. We can review a physical sample with you so the appearance your brand approves stays tied to the correct assembly.

Compare One Change at a Time

A small, controlled sample set gives a clearer answer than a tray in which shank, mouthpiece and finish all change together. Hold two dimensions of the configuration steady while comparing the third. Qualified fitting and use assessment remain separate from this buying comparison.

Choose One Model for Each Sample

Use BT0712’s 125 mm, 145 mm and 135 mm option labels to identify the sample you want, then mark the measured feature on its drawing. Quote each complete model separately; a similar long cheek does not make its mouthpiece or dimensions interchangeable with another construction.

Make Every Assembly Identifiable

Your order list should show a complete base model, mouthpiece, measured size, finish and supplied accessories for each line. Keep any approved decorative revision attached to that same line. For a broader Western collection, coordinate bits, spurs and stirrups after the functional base of each category is fixed.
