Aluminum component and finish development
Custom Aluminum Stirrup Frames and Treads
Develop an aluminum stirrup with the frame, tread, pad and fixings clearly assigned to their materials. We manufacture from customer drawings and support your logo. Bring the proposed construction, interfaces and finish into one brief, then compare the complete sample on a consistent basis. Your team can agree the actual product instead of relying on an aluminum label alone.

Define the Frame, Pad and Finish
Make the material choice useful at component level. Relia manufactures stirrups and accepts your drawings and logo. Our material, dimensional, appearance and assembly-fit checks connect the frame, tread and supplied parts, helping your team review the finished geometry and surface alongside the proposed alloy requirements.
Choose the component arrangement before narrowing the alloy and finish. The 2026AL aluminum I-stirrup includes a black rubber pad; the 221261L aluminum Western stirrup has a plain band. Use the appropriate form to explain your starting point, then assign the custom frame, pad and fixings their own material requirements.
Use the sample display to compare the scale and placement of an ornament on a broad outer band. For your aluminum version, agree the component alloy, finish and logo position in the drawing and sample; a similar surface appearance alone does not define the material.

Specify the Frame and Tread Independently
A frame material does not automatically describe the tread, pad or fixings. Name each part and the material designation you want reviewed, then connect it to the matching drawing. That makes material substitutions and finish changes visible before the sample becomes the reference for a distributor range.
| Part | Material information | Connect with |
|---|---|---|
| Frame | Proposed aluminum designation and section requirements | Frame geometry and upper interface |
| Tread or platform | Actual proposed material and working-surface definition | Frame connection and tread drawing |
| Pad or covering | Composition and extent, when included | The surface it fits |
| Fixings or inserts | Material and part geometry, when designed | The complete assembly drawing |
Review the Route Against the Actual Drawing
The frame section, upper interface and tread connection guide the aluminum project's making route. We choose the applicable forming operations, machining and any required joining, then polishing, surface treatment and assembly. The tread, pad, insert or fixing retains its own material and geometry requirements in the component schedule.
We check materials, dimensions, appearance and moving parts or assembly fit. Review the finished leather opening, usable tread and boot clearance with the installed components before approving the logo and finish. Where a weight target matters, keep the measured geometry, contents and piece or pair unit with the result rather than treating aluminum as a complete performance description. Use our frame and tread inspection checkpoints with the complete stirrup sample.

Keep the Pad Boundary in the Material Review
The 2026ALE example pairs an aluminum I-stirrup with a black rubber pad. Its visible boundary is useful when explaining where the frame ends and the pad begins. For your design, mark the actual pad seat and extent rather than treat the complete product as a single material.

Tie the Finish Sample and Logo to One Surface
Send the finish appearance you want to compare and mark the logo position on the exact component. Include artwork, size and direction. We can discuss the application for the proposed material and construction, then use the sample to agree the visible result without assuming a treatment method from a colour name.

State a Weight Target with a Complete Basis
If weight is part of your range brief, define the assembly and quantity unit it applies to. Compare the same geometry with the same tread and included parts. This gives a useful design target while keeping any actual weight result separate from a material label or an incomplete photograph.
| Keep defined | Record |
|---|---|
| Geometry | Frame size, section and upper attachment |
| Working surface | The selected tread and any pad |
| Contents | Fixings, inserts and supplied components |
| Unit | One stirrup or the exact agreed pair |
Keep the Upper Interface in the Component Drawing
The upper attachment is part of the material and assembly brief as well as the fit discussion. Show its connection to the frame and the equipment it will meet. For broader frame and tread geometry, continue to the custom English stirrup drawing page; keep the aluminum allocation explicit here.

Agree One Material and Finish Baseline
Bring the part drawings, material schedule, finish target and logo placement to the sample discussion together. Record accepted geometry, component materials and appearance as one version. Quantities by size or finish and destination then help us discuss the next commercial step for your distributor range.
Record usable tread dimensions, boot clearances and the upper-leather/slot fit alongside the material and finish decisions in the sample approval record.
